Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte

Haiku: Time Management

Future time unknown
Time past is extremely vast
Now’s best time for me

Haiku: Procrastination

Temperatures warm
Stubborn leaves on trees still green
Summer flowers bloom

Autumn will arrive
Splendid colors flaming bright
In her own good time

Challenging Time

When first I began posting crone chronicles
Enriched by Word Press 101 prompts
I sat at my computer catching ready-made stories
Tumbling from a lifetime of rich memories
Lovely to go back and re-member the past

Seems as if now life around me is changing
Much new is good, much more terrifying
Past seems an irrelevant line drawn in the sand
The who I was then needs refurbishment
What I live and write now creates  past for my future

Haiku: Passing Time

Days move slower now
Crawling at a turtle pace
Time to smell a rose

Weeks go charging by
Rapid rabbits hop along
Where did my time go?

Haiku: Time Warp

Some nights I’m awake
Sandman keeps eluding me
Dawn takes own sweet time

Written in response to Daily Prompt: Tardy

Haiku: Time Intractable

Fiddling on his roof
Puzzled amidst changing times
Tevye’s words still ring true

Can things stay the same
Honoring past treasured ways
Moving future-wise?

Roots traditional
Most beloved and revered
Bear new fruits in time

Daily Prompt: Tradition

Haiku: Future Gazing

Warm sun-dappled leaves
Wind-rippled set to dancing
Pale lazy blue sky

Seasonal setting
Telling tale going nowhere
I long to be young

Haiku: Quiet Movement

Day after Solstice
A plain ordinary day
It strikes my fancy

Globe keeps on spinning
Days begin their lengthening
Promise of more light.
