No technicolor morning
Gray and somber day

Standard time arrived
Early morning coffee time
Lit by bright sunshine

On the other hand
Time to close the blinds at dusk
Charmed by sight of moon

Birdsong starts my day
Windchimes tinkle like silver
Tea kettle whistles
 
Spoon clicks sides of mug 
Stirs coffee, cream and sugar
Sighs of  contentment
