Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte

Strange New/Old Classic

After receiving expert guidance I think I’m here. But still nothing is familiar. I’ll try to decipher the symbols.

It has a mind of its own not compatible with my writing style. My muse is hiding.

Is this about the new wordpress editor? Hehe I loved it!

I’m glad to hear you like it. I’m sure Word Press felt many people would. It doesn’t suit writing poetry to my way of thinking. Thanks for your response.

No no, I’m having so much trouble with the new updates as well. I somehow don’t even get notifications of people commenting or liking my posts. I meant I loved your recent poems voicing our common struggle!

I missed your HeHe meaning. Sort of like gallows humor? I’m glad you found my poems helpful. It feels godo to find out we are not alone in our having difficulties with the Word Press changes.

  3. I wish I could help, but it would be the blind leading the blind as I just deleted someone’s comment into oblivion and I don’t know why.

If I get a better handle on it, I’ll send help

  4. Shes not really hiding, but it does take some working out….Phew!

Thanks, Alison. I find the new classic editor quite invasive. Maybe I’m not in the right place. I won’t give up, though. And I will appreciate any tips you have.

It makes it very hard to write something and then add a photograph and then post it and go back again tomorrow because you want to change the photo it is almost impossible. However on the upside it means that I have found your blog.
