A strange year just passed shaped by COVID19
Not in sync with my usual Christmas card message
Wearing masks for distancing safe but not jolly
Constant hand washing causes skin to dry out
A tragic time for U.S. and the world
Overwhelming death counts and grieving survivors
Occupy daily news headlines and stories
Businesses closed devastate the economy
Virtual school classes and all sorts of Zooming
Afford us necessary human connections
Neighbors helping neighbors and kindness of strangers
Testify that love still sheds a warm light
Holiday time is simply amazing
The arts are creating novel celebrations
Human spirit surges to reaffirm season
God’s gift of new life evergreen
You shed a warm light on WordPress, and I am thankful for it. Merry Christmas, Ina
Thank you, Rose. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas
It has been a strange year, that’s for sure. But you are right to look at the blessings we have found as well. Hope your holidays are warm and bright.
Thanks, Dale. Best wishes for your holidays!
Thank you!
Hi Viv! I’ve had my head so burrowed in writing and editing that I forgot all the wonderful people waiting to read just a click away. Actually, I’d even stopped writing on my site. But now, two books are at the publisher and one coming out soon, and I’m in catchup mode. Hugs to you. J.
Wonderful to hear from you, Janet. Thanks.
This is the perfect feeling I have right now ~ for as difficult as this year was, I cannot say how special this holiday season was, the mood and sense of ‘we are all in this together’ and time spent with those around you (even if fewer) felt so good. Wrapped up in the holiday, reaffirming how wonderful the world and life can be. Wishing you a wonderful final few days of the year and then a healthy and happy new year ahead.
Thank you, Dalo. if you could see me you would notice I am beaming. Our feelings about this strange COVID holiday season do match. Best wishes for a new year to enjoy the little goodnesses that will continue to surprise us.
Hello, it is March and I am back.(kinda) Please leave word that you are alright, or even if you’re not alright and could use prayers or comfort. Checking in–
Good to hear from you. I’m glad you are back. Thanks for checking up on me. I’m fine though quite ready to get forward to whatever happens next. I have had my two doses of the vaccine. Have you had yours? ❤
