Clanging scraping trucks
Patching potholes of winter
Birds chirp in the trees
Raindrops pelt window
Promise rich growth of plant life
A Zen kind of day

If you don’t mind, please keep your raindrops today until Saturday… I am in the process of moving and would dearly love to not have to worry about wetting my stuff!
Lovely haiku!
Well your comment may have done it. The rain just stopped. Happy moving day. Glad you liked my haiku.
Woo hoo! I got the power! 😉
Thank you.
And yes, I did. I always do 🙂

Ye Gods! You should see the potholes in St. Paul. There are enough to last till next winter. One of them it is rumored goes all the way to Australia.
Well maybe I will see your potholes. They do sound awful. In two weeks I’m coming over to Minneapolis to visit my son and his family.
You have chosen a good time to visit. The weather is nicer.
Good to hear the weather is good. Thanks.
