Haiku: Summer Sounds

Clanging scraping trucks
Patching potholes of winter
Birds chirp in the trees

Raindrops pelt window
Promise rich growth of plant life
A Zen kind of day

    Ye Gods! You should see the potholes in St. Paul. There are enough to last till next winter. One of them it is rumored goes all the way to Australia.
