Haiku: Brief Run

on November 7, 2018

Summer lingered still
Not yet ready to depart
Autumn knocked on door

Robed in finery
Fiery red, soft apricot
Jack Frost-designed leaves

Wind sent them a-twirl
Beauty carpets patio
Winter’s on the way
