Temperatures warm
Stubborn leaves on trees still green
Summer flowers bloom

Autumn will arrive
Splendid colors flaming bright
In her own good time

    Lovely!
It truly is late this year. I was looking at Google’s “Rediscover this day” and four years ago, the leaves were ablaze in colours… Today? Barely a hint… Take your time, Mother Nature, those leaves will be on the ground in no time!

  5. This is beautiful Ina xo

Just lovely. ‘In her own good time’. Yes indeed.
Summer lingering here in the high desert also. Still triple digits as well as lingering wildfire smoke.
Meanwhile I have decorated for Fall, and Walmart has the Halloween & Christmas stuff out simultaneously.
    Thank you.

Thinking toward your seasonal decorations sounds fun. Today is a cool in-between-seasons sort of day. And lovely because I have my windows open and haven’t needed to turn on the furnace yet.
