Spruce tree’s woodsy scent
Bright colored lights a-dazzle
Kitchen smells wafting
Wrapped in bright paper
Gifts mysterious wonder
Await awed children
Soon it is over
Scraps of paper attesting
Dinner digesting

Thanks, Dale. It was one of the best. I hope yours was wonderful. Happy New Year to you. 🙂
That is great to hear! It was quite good and I got to showcase my new beau all over the place. 😉
Thank you!
I can feel new energy with your new beau in your life. I am so happy for you, Dale. ❤
Thank you, Ina 💖
So true Ina, all that wonderful atmosphere and activity and then it’s all over so soon…
Over so soon, yet I breathed a sigh of relief after putting away my few simple Christmas decorations and making new file folders for 2018 health and financial records. Now I can settle back into the “dead of winter” and its peace.
A great description! Love it
