Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte

  1. Funny I was looking for the perfect adjective to describe the pink in the sky just yester dusk. Blush pink, yes that’s it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. oak trees support life
home to bugs… birds,,, mammals too
    refuge I once sought

    your words evoked days
    a past of protesting
    an oak took us in

    the sun the moon too
our partners… helped see us through
    blushed pink… police… all done

A brief recollection of sad, happy days, your haiku a vision, opened a door into my protesting past. nothings changed, eh? Thanks, Ina…
