Funny I was looking for the perfect adjective to describe the pink in the sky just yester dusk. Blush pink, yes that’s it! ๐
That is a delightful coincidence. ๐
oak trees support life
home to bugs… birds,,, mammals too
refuge I once sought
your words evoked days
a past of protesting
an oak took us in
the sun the moon too
our partners… helped see us through
blushed pink… police… all done
A brief recollection of sad, happy days, your haiku a vision, opened a door into my protesting past. nothings changed, eh? Thanks, Ina…
Lovely. Thanks for hinting at your interesting memory.
The police just cleared us off site, only the idiots got arrested.
I’m happy for your outcome, Mick. โค
I protest out walking
radio controlled boats
their owners terrorising
ducks with ducklings
I out quacked the ducks
O yes I called the RSPCA
To late when they arrived
They accused me of lying
so so many many moons
have passed since then
protesting now is done
by way of my posh pen
truth is we never did win
all we got for our troubles
many bumps hairy stubble
home filthy really stinking
good thing about my pen
so posh won’t fit my pocket
but then why should it fit in
my lap top my writing friend
Bravo for protesting however you do it.
