Round moon in night sky
Casts bright beam on my carpet
Restores gentle peace

Ina you play tricks on my eyes. I had to read this several times before I realized the word was MOON not Noon. My eyes are dim…where’s my cane?
I get it, Nigel. Your comment made me look closely to see if I had indeed written MOON. I have one working eye and sport a wonderful Rollator walker that I bought after my 93 year old friend got hers so she could run in short bursts.
Beautiful
Thank you, Dale.
Viv, you captured it wonderfully. I’m always taken with how gracefully you use language.
Thank you, Janet. Your comments mean a lot to me. ❤
Ohhhh this is so different than the reputation of the full moon for bringing out the crazies 😉 I’m so glad it brings you a sense of peace instead ❤
Thanks, Christy. Because of many rainy days and nights seeing the moon was a special joy. I always love the full moon. Until you mentioned it I had forgotten it was associated with lunacy.
Awww 🙂 Thanks for explaining the motivation behind this haiku. It’s nice the moon gave you joy!
❤
Beautiful Ina, I feel peaceful in the circle of that light.
Thank you, Andrea.
