Haiku: Poet’s Malaise

Swollen gray rain clouds
Day by day color mindscape
Dampen my spirits

I dream of autumn
Leaves to fire inspiration
Summer’s a bummer

  1. I love Fall it is just a gorgeous time and a new beginning!

Yes, I found myself longing for autumn this week. Good one.

  3. Experiencing the last of the monsoon storms here in the high desert. Big dramatic thunder/heavy rain/lightning and all the summer’s heat, dust, and scorching cement carried off down the arroyos and washes. ‘Leaves to fire inspiration.’ Lovely. Thank you. 🐞

Your monsoon storms sound exciting. They make for beautiful poetry. Thanks for your comment. I love your ladybug. ❤
