Janus-faced, two views.
Looking back, gazing ahead
Panoramic sight.
Comes a time in life
Years behind grow numerous
Tilt balance toward past.
Seesaw-like what’s up
View of future, contemplate
Time of less is more.
Janus-faced, two views.
Looking back, gazing ahead
Panoramic sight.
Comes a time in life
Years behind grow numerous
Tilt balance toward past.
Seesaw-like what’s up
View of future, contemplate
Time of less is more.

Excellent piece–I especially like the final line; so true that “time of less is more”…
Many thanks for your comment.
Most welcome.
“Time of less, is more…” That is just a perfect way to understand life, especially as we grow a bit older 🙂 The balancing act of life and of every day is a lot like this: looking back, gazing ahead ~ and trying to balance all that can be seen behind us while forgetting to think about what’s ahead can be quite difficult…this haiku a great reminder. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment. I’ve thought further and consider living in that point in the center of before and after would be a lovely gift.
Really nice one!
Thanks for your comment, Lynn.
Your haiku always make me think and are very interesting!
I like that. Thanks!
“time of less is more” …. beautiful!
Thanks, Susan.
