Yesterday was warm
Today went out minus hat
Shivered in the cold.
So the wise ones say
Single sparrow not a sign
Season change complete.

Love the last two lines!
Thanks, Lynn.
🙂
Oh, it is so true!
The desert is having a rainy dawn. First since January. Smells delicious.
All my best to you. Have an excellent weekend.🐞
Wonderful weekend to you. Enjoy your scented rain. I love the ladybug.
Did you change your domain? Can’t imagine I didn’t already follow your blog. That would be aweful on my part. I’ve always enjoyed your works… my bad if that was an oversight on my part.
I got a domain of my own recently when I paid Word Press to obtain an ad-free blog. My domain is Poetrybyheart.me. It is a word play on my last name Hart.
Splendid! Your last name is very fitting, the sound of it at least. I like it and it’s nice of you to share that with me. I will try and refrain from calling you Dame Hart, oops I just did. I always end up giving dear friends some sort of name. Can’t help it. Please forgive me if I slip and use it again 🙂
No one’s ever called me Dame Hart. I don’t mind. I’ve never had a nick-name. The closest I’ve come is Vivachange which I named myself. May I be curious and ask what I of July signifies?
Glad you’re not offended 🙂 oh, I of July is just a play on the fact that I was born during the month of July… aside from that never deemed it to have any significance beyond that, maybe it my love for rhyme also had something to do with it
I like the rhyme in I of July. 🙂
I am in no way offended. I like our being friends and having this conversation. I enjoy your writings and the way you think and see things.
The last line is awesome!
Thanks, Christy. 🙂
