Exploring the poetry of everyday life

Haiku: Respiration

on February 21, 2016

World comes a-calling
Diluting my solitude
Offering fresh breath.

Outside my  window
Beyond tree and morning sky
Await poems to write.

Nothing so certain in life but taxes, death and poetry 😉

Yes, this poem reminds me of tax season.

  3. I love the way the world is calling with it’s poems to be written, sometimes we have to follow a story out into the world 🙂

  4. Oh yes and so glad you are writing them

Thanks for your lovely comment. I’m glad my words have meaning for you. I’m the mother of three sons who divorced their father twenty-five years ago. It was difficult but I’ve come out stronger and free. Best wishes to you. ❤
