White lace graces trees
Early February morn
Contrasts summer green.

Snow? I am making an effort to look deeper into the words and their relationship. Let me know how I am doing?
Yes, that is what prompted me to write this haiku. Gorgeous soft snow fell overnight and now covers the branches of the trees out my window where green leaves grow in summer. You’re doing great.
Gorgeous!
Glad you like it. 🙂
I do!
lovely, lovely, lovely. It works well.
Thanks, Janet.
No snow for us, but this is like our first really frosty morning of this week.
We’ve had snow non-stop all week and it is very cold. It is really pretty and someone must have put out food for the robins.
Looks like you’re on a roll. =) It’s Feb – and summer-hot in Southern CA!!
I guess “variety is the spice of life”. I wouldn’t mind a little of your summer-like weather.
