Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte

Writing 101 – Coffee and a Poetry Dance

on September 20, 2015

Over a cup of coffee I’d love to tell you about my invitation to a poetry dance. I replied that I like to dance and I love poetry – so what is it? Cyfrin the Celtic Poet explained that first I would write a poem and post it on my blog. Then he would write a poem and link it to mine. Then I would repeat the process. It is fun to pick up bits of an idea in someone else’s poem and take itΒ inΒ a different direction. Our segues are fun and creative. You might enjoy taking a look at what we’ve put together so far. See posts on my blog.
