Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that small, bright, and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. David Whyte

Autumn’s Second Act

on October 3, 2014

Autumn days filled with sunshine
Abundant and warm.
A time to hold on to,
Enjoy while they last.

Soft hints of nostalgia
Crept into my bones.
Tingeing the pleasure
Of summer remembered.

Yet today something’s different.
I feel a new impetus
To stop and to celebrate
The splendor of change.
